1. Apply directly to cleansed skin or after spot and pre-treating stubborn pigmented areas with Melanotech Drops. Do not layer other products underneath.
2. Use nightly on the face, neck, and décolleté, or any area of the body with hyperpigmentation.

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) — A lipophilic stable form of vitamin C. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that stimulates collagen synthesis, inhibits tyrosinase, and reduces pigmentation while protecting from oxidative and environmental stress. It is also involved in the ‘recycling’ of vitamin E for its reactivation in the skin. MAP can brighten, soften, smooth, and strengthen skin.

Phytic Acid — Phytic acid is not classified as an AHA or BHA; it is a potent antioxidant and mild exfoliant that reduces overall melanin production. The stimulating aspects of phytic acid reduce pigment concentrations of compacted corneocytes at the surface, clear out follicles, and reduce pore size.

Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Root Extract (Licorice) — Licorice is a cooling skin conditioner that calms irritation and redness. It is a natural extraction containing flavonoids that inhibit inflammation, lighten pigmentation, and counteract oxidative stress. Licorice also improves hydration, suppleness, and turgidity by preserving the skin’s hyaluronic acid content.

Morus Alba Root Extract (White Mulberry) — A proven skin brightener and tone balancer, mulberry is typically combined with other ingredients to create a potent cocktail of skin-lightening agents. Mulberry inhibits tyrosinase and has several biocompatible compounds that are antioxidant, antimicrobial, soothing, free radical scavenging, and anti-inflammatory.

Avena Sativa Kernel Flour (Oat) — Oat flour helps calm and protect inflamed skin conditions with antioxidant and photoprotective phenolic compounds. It also contains high levels of the immune-boosting polysaccharide beta-glucan, which increases the skin’s water holding capacity. This ingredient is a good source of B vitamins, vitamin E, proteins, fats, and minerals.
